Betrayed by Tivo

So, there I was, snuggled in on the couch, ready to catch up on the television I missed as a result of studying for my licensure exam (which I passed! Yay me!). I had tivo'ed 5 episodes of "24," 3 episodes of "The Apprentice," and one episode of "America's Next Top Model." I was set for a marathon. I was in Kiefer-withdrawal. Eagerly, I flipped to the Tivo's "Now Playing" menu and -

Gone. My shows were gone. Five hours of Kiefer-riffic goodness, 3 hours of Trump-tasticness, and 1 hour of non-model behavior were gone. Apparently, my husband added some season passes of his own recently, and when the Tivo ran out of space, it erased MY shows and replaced them with (get this) "Gargoyles."

"Gargoyles?" Oh the humanity!!!


Now, I will not get a chance to see Nai-meh's soporific return to ANTM, complete with humongous sideburns. I won't get to see CTU's own personal hobbit get beaten up, or watch Lispy Edgar bite it. I'll miss seeing the introduction of Trump's Corporate Weasels. All so my dear, dear husband can watch poorly voiced gargoyles recite poorly written dialogue in inane situations.

There is no justice in this world. I just feel, feel so...betrayed. I trusted that my shows would be there. I trusted that I would be able to catch up on my television watching after I finished studying for my exam. I trusted my Tivo, and now? *sniff* I just don't know that things could ever be the same between the two of us...
