Reality TV isn't really Reality?!?!

Quelle Horror! Apparently, there is a nasty, nasty rumor going around that reality television may not be totally realistic. As reported by E!Online, Survivor: Palau Tiga winner, Richard Hatch, has made allegations that fellow contestants were cheating and getting food smuggled to them on the island, and that producers were aware of this.

Say it ain't so!

Hatch, best known for prancing around in the nude at the drop of...er...shorts, goes on to allege that Survivor producers made a deal with him that they would pay his share of the taxes on the $1 million prize if he won, in exchange for his silence about the cheating.

Unsurprisingly, other contestants were shocked! Shocked! Shocked, I tell you, by these allegations.

Survivor Season 1 final five contestant, Dr. Sean Keniff, stated: "I never witnessed any cheating by Survivor contestants, Survivor producers or other Survivor staff." Coming from a man who used the infamous "Alphabet strategy" to decide who to vote off, that's not saying much. This is also a man whose legacy will include the famed "Superpole." 'Nuff said.

Well, this is just ruining my little House of Dreams that Reality TV built. Does this mean that "Who Wants to Marry a Multi-Millionaire" was also a sham? Does this mean that The Bachelor and his chosen woman do not live happily ever after? Is America's Next Top Model really not all that fierce?

*sigh* *sniff*

I guess it's back to overly violent television for me...thank god "24" is on tonight...
